How to sign up

Comment on THIS JOURNAL ONLY and indicate which theme you would like and the type of submission (Visual or Written)

Visuals can be but are not limited to:
Coloured or shaded pictures
Photographs and/or photomanipulation of your own work
Collages
Visual Poem

Written can be but are not limited to:
Haiku
Short Poem
Song
Quote

Please state what you would like to do and await approval
Pictures must be at least 8.5 X 11 inches (preferably LANDSCAPE) and 300 dpi

How to submit

Make sure you read the directions in the Notice CAREFULLY to ensure that your entry meets requirements
Post it on deviantART and link it in a NOTE titled "SUBMISSION"
Wait for a reply, if there is no problem, a thumb of the entry will appear beside your name
If there is no reply and no thumb after a week, resend the note
If there is a problem with your submission, we will notify you immediately
Work on your next piece or eagerly await results!!!

Notice

This IS a contest, only 3 visual entries and 3 written entries will be printed in large per season (12 entries in total)
You may submit ONE entry per season
If there is an imbalance of submissions between seasons, you may be asked to choose another one, so sign up early
Even if you do not win, you will still be mentioned in the calendar and your work will be displayed in the calendar in some way
Two grand prizes will be given: one to the winner of the overall visual and one to the overall written category
If we do not have enough submissions, the calendar project will carry over to the next year
Deadline for THIS YEAR is the first of December
